"Some subsolidus phase relationships of SiO2-Al2O3"

要 旨
The chemical system SiO2-Al2O3 is simple but very important. Mainly there are three compositions people
care about: SiO2, Al2O3, Al2SiO5. The phase relationships of the compositions SiO2 and Al2O3 have been reasonably well studied at pressures up to the core condition.
For the composition Al2SiO5, however, our understanding is still poor and its phase relationships are in pieces and in discrepancy. In this talk, we show the results of some multi-anvil experiments up to 25 GPa and ~ 3000 K with this composition, which bring all the literature studies into agreement. In combining with Topology, these results have been used to deduce the subsolidus phase relationships of the system SiO2-Al2O3.
