要 旨
Our group has been studying the effect of water on the Earth's mantle materials. When the water is incorporated in hydrous minerals or nominally anhydrous minerals, to clarify the stability region and the water partitioning behavior should be important. In this seminar, I will summarize the water partitioning and the effect of water on high pressure phase transformation of olivine.
In addition, when the all water cannot be incorporated in the minerals and the hydrous magma is generated, to clarify the water content of magma should be important because the water content in the magma generated in a certain P-T condition should be unique. I will show you the possible water content of magma generated in the Earth's mantle.
