The suite includes separate programs for various computational geometries ranging from 2-D Cartesian to 3-D spherical shell. Each numerical program, developed by ourselves from scratch, successfully runs on almost all computing environments, thanks to its conformity to the Fortran 90 standard.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<p><a name=\"hime\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"design_headline1\">\u201cHIME-DIA\u201d, Nano-Polycrystalline Diamond (NPD)<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"design_headline2\"><span class=\"title\">\u201cHIME-DIA\u201d, Nano-Polycrystalline Diamond (NPD)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-821 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.grc.ehime-u.ac.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/himedia.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"274\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.grc.ehime-u.ac.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/himedia.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.grc.ehime-u.ac.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/himedia-300x91.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.grc.ehime-u.ac.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/himedia-768x234.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>NPD is a binder-less sintered nanodiamonds (~50 nm) synthesized by direct conversion of graphite under high P-T at GRC first in 2003. It is optically transparent and has extremely high hardness exceeding that of single-crystalline diamond. The use of 6000 ton press (Botchan) has expanded the size of NPD to 1 cm, which is a thousand times bigger in volume than the original product in 2003. Large NPD can be adopted for anvils for DAC, multianvil and Drickamer apparatuses.
